Our annual tournament is a much anticipated event each season. This year The Long Island Blues will be welcoming the New Jersey Dare Devils, the Southern Connecticut Storm and the Nova Cool Cats. Raffles, 50/50, plenty of hockey and an awards ceremony will highlight Saturday’s festivities which run from 3:00 -8:00 pm. Sunday will feature true “Winter Classic” outdoor games at the Marjorie Post Outdoor Skating Rink in Massapequa from 9:30-11:30 am. Come and join us for a great time and support special hockey.

The Blues were thrilled to spend part of the holiday break participating in the Winterfest tournament sponsored by the York Polar Bears. The team played hard, had a blast and exhibited great sportsmanship. Thank you Polar Bears for an amazing event.

Thank you to the Central Park North Stars for hosting us in an outdoor game in the Park. Everyone had a blast and so much fun skating outside the cold weather didn’t bother us!!!

The Long Island Blues enjoyed the international competition at this USA Hockey tournament this past weekend. They faced some tough opponents but had fun, showed great sportsmanship and made friends along the way.Looking forward to getting our USA Hockey jerseys!!

Great hockey, great fun, great friends (lousy weather) but as always The Storm were wonderful hosts to The Blues. Good time watching the Sound Tigers as well at the Webster Bank Arena.
